Read all about it

Donna Laframboise, aka Minx the Merciless, has released her book about the hopelessly compromised and incompetent IPCC.

For now it’s available in ebook format, a print version will be released soon. If you don’t own a Kindle or ebook reader yet (you should), you can read it on your PC, Mac or smart phone with the free Kindle App.

Donna has worked tirelessly to expose the IPCC for what it is, and now you can read all about it for less than the cost of a fancy latte at Starbucks. Every time a copy is sold, a hippie loses his wings, or something. So what are you waiting for?

Punk is Dead

Malcolm McLaren, manager of the Sex Pistols is dead aged 64. The architect of the great rock’n’roll swindle is no more.

Nothing was sacred to MM, I still get a kick from the opera set’s precious outrage at this poke in their eye:

Or this effort… pure genius which you missed unless you were there but can still enjoy for the eye candy:

So long Malcolm and thanks for the irreverance, it still inspires me.

HBO’s The Pacific

Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks do for the Pacific campaign what they did for the European theater with Band of Brothers.

The IMDB listing is here.  The Pacific is not out until next Spring, but the trailer is so super-awesome that it must be seen:

The new series only needs to be half as good as Band of Brothers to be better than just about everything else on TV right now.
